Built for Investors and Defense Industry Professionals
K-Defense Monitor provides institutional investors and defense industry professionals with specialist intelligence and advisory services on the South Korean defense sector — a market underserved by generalist research.

Who We Are
South Korea's defense industry has moved from a niche supplier to a central node in the global defense ecosystem, shaping capacity, supply chains, and export dynamics across the United States (US), Europe, and the Indo-Pacific. The country's defense contractors are delivering naval vessels, air and missile defense systems, fighter jets, and various land systems to an expanding base of allies and partners, thereby contributing meaningfully to allied deterrence and collective defense capacity in an era of deteriorating global security.
K-Defense Monitor (KDM) is built for institutional investors and defense industry professionals who require rigorous, dedicated analysis of this sector. KDM provides specialist intelligence and advisory services focused on procurement outcomes, competitive positioning, and industrial strategy, with particular attention to where the evidence supports the narrative and where it does not.

Research & Analysis
Our research focuses on what is strategically consequential in South Korea's defense sector where industrial capacity, procurement policy, and allied requirements converge to create material developments. Drawing on original Korean-language sources across government disclosures, parliamentary proceedings, and specialist defense media, we provide analysis oriented toward depth and signal extraction rather than coverage breadth. That includes assessment of program health, contract durability, and export pipeline quality, thereby distinguishing positions that are well-founded from those that carry risks not visible in headline figures. We also take on bespoke projects tailored to specific investment theses and due diligence requirements.

Deal Advisory
S. Korea's defense sector is generating some of the most compelling investment and partnership opportunities in the global market. For U.S. and European investors and defense firms, the window to act is open. That said, capturing that opportunity requires more than market awareness. It demands direct access to S. Korean industry relationships, firsthand knowledge of how S. Korean defense and technology companies operate, and the experience to move from identification to execution.
